An oak piece 23" x 7" X 5" using first cut lumber.
I hate painting, but this one was actually enjoyable. Working to get the transparancy to see the under water part, and using metalic dry pigments to sparkle in the waves, was a new challenge for me.

Feel free to critique my work I will not take offense, so don't worry. I find it to be helpfull when other carvers point out areas I need to improve.
I know and can see clearly exactly what, I want to carve.
But on the long journey from my head through my arms,
So much is lost before it gets to my fingers and tools
