As my Mother viewed my website for the first time and inquired about the photo of the "original" heart box, by exclaiming "you carved that"? Uh, yeah, thanks mom. That's all I needed to hear (artists are funny that way), not to mention, also a little strange considering I STILL had that nasty piece of redwood I used Feb. 14, 2006 I carved my daughters Valentines gift from. LOL Cut this piece out right along side the cuts I had made into it 2+ years ago! This one however, exhibits a bit more character with a few weathering cracks. Non the less, it claims it's value if in sentiment only. Yep, Mothers Day, Mom.
