I've been putting off carving that style of walking staff. Now that I see the fine job you have done, I want to carve one again. Can you tell me what is the blue in the coiled hat. Difficult to see from the photo. I haven't seen that in other carvings similar to this one.

Hi Bruce, Very nice Wizard Walking Stick. What kind of wood is it ? I made one from Poplar and it was on the light side. I like the Dark wood. Thanks for showing. Merle
