Sorry for the pic...I'll get some more detailed views of the pieces shortly, but its just as the name implies. The Addams Family with Gomez and Morticia as king and queen, Lurch and Uncle Fester (with a lightbulb sticking out of his mouth) as bishops, Pugsley and Wednesday (holding her 'headless' Marie Antionette doll) as knights, Cousin 'IT' standing ontop of the castle tower for rooks and 'Thing' in various positions for the pawns. Munsters feature Herman and Lilly, Grandpa and Eddie as bishops, the Munsters family car and Grandpa's 'Dragula" for knights, the house staircase for castles (you lift up the staircase and see 'Spot's' carved dragon head under them, and bats in trees for pawns. Kings about 8.5" tall pawns about 4-4.5" tall. All of the pieces are about 2"square at the base, made from Poplar. Board measures over 33" square and is made from birch 'diamond-brite' (Very heavy and hard as a rock!)...the Munsters side has a 'trap door' square operated by a secret lever under the board. Two corners on the outside of the board feature graves with headstones, the other two feature their respective houses. A whole lot of fun to play with!!
