My first Cane. Had 2 pieces of Cherry that were to short for a walking stick so made a cane. The top is the Hame Tip of a Horses Harness. It all came together very good and is balanced well. Finished it with Dark Wax and Polyu and Feed-n-Wax.

PS. As you can see the bottom of the picture it comes apart for easy storage. Besides that was the length of the pieces. Worked out well. Merle

Thanks Forrest, I had bought that Horse Harness Hame a couple of years ago. I was starting to think that I wasn't going to find a use for it. I got the pieces of CHERRY and they were to short, and needed to connect them and make them longer. I thought of my Threaded coupler and Horse Hame, laid them out and were the right size. They went together very nice. My oldest daughter realy liked it, she wanted to hurt her leg so she could use it .Ha,Ha. Thanks again Old Friend. Merle
