First homemade carving knife. Blade made from a piece taken from an industrial bandsaw blade. Handle from a piece of a peach tree trimming with a coat of BLO. About 3 hours and $0.00 invested. I think it turned out great. It is a sharp as any other carving knife I own. Started 2/10/08, completed 2/11/08.
