&nbsp;Kathy,great Dolls. The colors are eye catching as well as the carving. You friends will love them I'm sure. Do you make up your own Patterns or do you have a book that you get them from? Very Nice. Merle

Merle, I have two basic patterns I like to use on is from a book by Tom Moore "Carving Traditional Style Kachina Dolls" a Schiffer Book. The other "The Hopi Approach to the Art of Kachina Doll Carving" by Erik Bromberg and also a Schiffer book. I also have other Kachina books that I use for reference. I mainly carve the 'Belley Acker' dolls with the arms carved hugging the waist.
