Wood is Cherry laminated to thickness. The head is power carved, the shaft is edged tool carved. Detail is burned to accent it.

I don't usually rate other people's carvings as I am such a beginner myself, but this is such a beautiful cane! I was looking through this cane section of photo albums for some inspiration, and was thrilled to find this. What a wonderful work of art! Just fantastic! Thanks for posting pictures of it.
