I very much enjoyed seeing this. The color compliments is well and the grain of the wood showing is very appealing. Great show of motion in the beard and his roving eye.

Merle Yes I do try and make a living at it. I teach an introductory class to realistic faces , I have some roughouts and sell my work . Hey I got in the Woodcarving illustrated Mag with a Smokie MT Woodcarvers add this Issue LOL . HMMM wonder what it will take to get on the cover ?????
