The premise of this carving demonstrates the action that occurs when a lowly frog snaps it's tongue to capture one of Ontario's "Huge Mosquitos" The mosquito takes off, dragging the frog by the tongue from his resting place thru the swamp, up a cat-tail in a painful halt. The question is... does he let go?

Great carving. However the midgies in the west coast of Scotland are far bigger than that runt of a mosie.
