Deer relief carved in Wormy Chestnut

I relief carved this buck{deer} jumping over a log,Its 9 X 18 inches and painted. This board was planed several times. Its least 75-100 yrs old. Since these pict,I finished it with minwax which really brought out the grains & colors.

Dianna,Im glad you liked this buck for it was alot of fun for me to carve and paint,course I no longer have it and the lady that bought it last year got it for her son that love deer hunting.Ive never been deer hunting to tell you the truth~
