Liferescue , neat looking carving station.
One thing though, hope you don't mind, but shouldn't that cam be able to clamp the work against the pins without using a "C" clamp , from your picture it appears as though the "C" clamp is needed to hold the cam in place.
Just wondering.

Thanks for the compliment! I agree but sometimes the cam doesn't hold the piece either because of the size of the piece, movement of the piece while carving, or the dowel holding the cam doesn't quite line up with a hole that will allow the cam to lock solid with the piece being carved. So, I throw a clamp on to hold it in place.

Hi Bob...great looking holder. I had the same problem with the cam not holding, so I glued a strip of sandpaper to the leading edge and it helped quite a bit.
