What kind of wood are you using for this?

I used Mahogony, I think it's Honduran. I found kiln dried 2x2's at a local hardwood lumber yard. The knob handle is of Black Walnut, with an oak peg to hold the handle on. I then inlayed maple around the handle and cane.
