The ark has been one of my most popular egg designs. I can't even guess how many I have carved as people keep requesting them. Each one is unique as they have different animals on the sides and in the portholes. The rhino and giraffe are consistent features.

Wow! Incredible detail on such a small carving. And soo adorable!

Was the wooden egg the type you can get in your general craft store? I've looked at them but was never sure how easy the wood would be to carve.
