Great carving, Thomp - is this one you had a pattern for, or did you just take a block of wood and a knife and began whittleing?

Claude, I carved the figure (Mitchell). There is no pattern. I sketched an image on a 2" block and started cutting. It came out a "little" different than I had in my head originally...but I really didn't know how he would turn out when I started.

Mitchell, I got a great big kick out of this.
It looks a lot like my son fooling around and doing a dance that is awkward and weird, but very funny.
Thanks for showing the image. Great design and amazingly balanced.
