Wow! I LOVE it! I'm assuming it's decorative only...but is the danish oil that you used safe for kitchen use?

Thank you Deborah, romek22, Jim and Terry for checking it out and the nice comments and ratings.
Deborah, the danish oil finish wouldn't be safe for food items.
I use a combo or walnut oil and beeswax for the food use spoons I carve. I put the beeswax and walnut oil in a glass jar in a pan of water(double boiler) and heat them up until the beeswax melts and stir it up. I keep the mixture in the jar and store it the frig so it doesn't go rancid.
