Finally had a chance to do some carving the past couple of nights. I have about 8 hours into this from start to applying the finish. The catalpa log measures 4" in dia. and is 18" long. Thanks Carolina Carver for the caltapa log!

Wow! Your details in the wrinkles around the eyes and forehead sets this carving apart from similar carvings of this type.
