First Santa

My first Santa carving Oct. 2000. Just wanted to share this carving with all those Santa carvers on the board. This carving measures 12"x3.5"x4". I started carving the face right on the corner of the block. This is when I was finishing with paint almost right out of the bottle and using a semi gloss lacquer finish.
