Irishman A passion for carving Registered: January 2006 Location: New Glasgow, Nova Scotia Canada Posts: 3,296	Perhaps the most requested carving face since I started log carving, an Old Salt carving. The log itself is approx. 5 ft tall and the wood is birch. He has linseed oil, dark satin wax, and sealer as a finish.

Patrick, I agree with Merle, you have a style thats all your own and its fantastic.
I've studied the way you and Merle do your eyes and I think its helped me improve mine.
