Black Walnut, Dimensions, 12" x 15"

The Claddagh is a design of a heart being encircled by a pair of delicate hands with a crown above the heart. It is a symbol of love and friendship. The hands signify friendship, the crown loyalty, and the heart love.

This project was more difficult to draw than to carve, with all those interwoven lines.
The name "Bairbre" is the Celtic name for Barbara, which is my wifes name.
