Aspen "bear" hiking stick. Bear is about 4 inches tall carrying a hiking stick. Entire stick is about 5 feet tall finished with linseed oil.

Nice carving Don, I'm no purest by any means but I've always admired carvings when it's carved all in one piece and with no add on's. Also I like the subject,something thats out of the ordinary for a walking stick,and carved in the round to boot, betcha those would be good sellers!

Very nice Don,
I like your Bear walking stick. Great detail & proportions. I've done some walking sticks, but they're still snowbound at my cabin. When I get back out there I'll get some pics. for the gallery.
Also I'm still enjoying the "what do you look like" thread.
