Thank you - it is my first try at a bear and, to be honest, I'm not all that happy with it. However, I seem to be a minority of one because everyone else who has seen the carving thinks it is well done. Thanks for taking the time to comment - always appreciated from a fellow carver.

Very good composition with a unique setting. I like the mixed medium as you added the real rock. I think you did a really good job on the bear. Doesn't look like a first bear to me. Good carving.
