Forrest, I went through the heart cath. or angioplasty last December. One of my arteries was 80% blocked. They had to put in 3 stents. The procedure wasn't all bad. I could feel a tickling sensation in my chest when they were placing the stents. Only discomfort my, Tail Bone Was Killing Me. One hard surface. They wanted to show me a video blah, blah, blah I refused. They showed me a picture after it was over and that got filed in file 13. Not having the mind cluttered is the road to recovery. I smoked as well, and found it now exciting to pick out fresh fruit to peel and eat. Gives my hands something to do when watching TV. The only sensible advice from the doctors was exercise. I grab my camera when going out the door and snap anything and everything even the front door. I don't give advice....How can I when my favorite cartoon gal is "Maxine."

    Blessings,

    marle

I'm new on some of the computer procedures, but sure honored to have you for my friend.

Ah, join the cclub. I went from super fit to being told I needed aheart transplant in three years. In the end we settled for a triple by pass, mmm 5 years ago.

I've learned little in 70 years but I do know not to give advise.
What I can say is my biggest hurdle was to slow down. As a kid my grandma said I'd a glass arse, I could n't sit at peace. Well I listened to the medical wizards and I've learned to do nothing.

However Forrest to each their own.
Fear was another difficult oneI hid it but it was there, I'd be a head case to enjoy open heart surgery.

If there's anything I can do to help, ask if I can I will.
Us old goats have got to stick together.

    Hi Forrest,

Thank you so very much for thinking about me. You are definitely one of a handful of very special people here on the message board. While I'm happy that you like my sticks, it pales in comparison to your artistic talents. Of course, you are an artist and I just dabble in carving sticks.

I am still doing a little carving and making knives, but my time has been cut way down.

Hey Forrest, hope you're staying warm and dry up in Tn., I see it's been quite cold and snowy up your way; lot's of rain and cold down south here.
Hope you had a Merry Christmas and New Year.
