Hi! My name is Tina aka teeburn.

Sorry I haven't answered sooner I just noticed it. I didn't see it till now. I don't have a site yet. I'm in the process of investigating the correct one for me. I do have an album on here that you can view and I also have one on the Woodburner site. I'm a very new carver but I have been burning for a few years. But I do have a relief burn ( that is what a call a relief carving and burning combination) of a lighthouse in my album.

It would be easier for me to give suggestions if I could see the piece or the drawing of the piece. All of your ideas you have shared sound like they could work it depends on what direction you want to take the piece. But I would love to share my thoughts if you could send me a pic. Look forward to your next response.

    Blessings!

Sir, I'm doing my first burn, it's a relief of a wolf sitting on boulders and howling (head straight up). The moon circles around from his chest, head, and to the back below the ear.Question, The moon is raised 1/8 inch, should I burn the edge? paint it yellow, maybe add a small cloud and paint the background black? or leave it alone and just apply a golden oak stain?

Next project is a lighthouse, after I find your site so I can get eyes-on
