    Hello everyone
    I'm new to this site so forgive me if this message turns up in the wrong place.
    I'm also new to carving & would appreciate any advice on the type of knives
    & wood I should be using.

    Don't really have any hobbies, children take up most of my time, but I'd love to give carving a try.

    Plumbing, plastering, joinery, decorating, tiling.... Basically if it needs doing....
