    Took a look at your blog. Your sticks are gorgeous. I've been carving a few years but still consider myself a beginner since I feel way behind on the learning curve. I like to carve hiking sticks, too, but they're obviously not as good as yours. My selection of wood is aspen which I enjoy carving. May I ask what you use to finish your sticks?

    I will be here until May, unless we pick up more work here. This is a great town I eat lunch at least once a week at Mclards BBQ. My project is on the same road down next to tractor supply and Razor Back RV. Do you belong to a carving club over in Little Rock?
