    Hello Kat,
Im sorry i wasn't able to get back to you in response to your post. running back and forth. Work, and other sidetracks... Yes, i do paint, but i also do portraits from time to time. Ive been out of it as the city has become very unpleasant to do business in, especially for vendors and peddlers holding licenses. I did portraits and caricatures of people successfully in NYC and Brooklyn/Queens... Ive been doing alot of carving lately mostly staffs and misc... Im working on some relief carvings, and am going through some periodicals on intarsia.. would like to incorporate carving, panting, and woodwork all into one... Working on many ideas at once. Thanks for the kind words!
Sincerely all the best, Bob Vega (Lazy)

Hi,I really like the finishing advise you gave to Jim on the grey wolfe for his niece. It sounds like the type of look I want for the beard on my wizard staff.I was wondering if you had an example of what that looked like.It will be quite awhile probably before I'm ready to finish it and I was thinking a black antiquing after painting it grey and was hoping by then maybe I could get an air brush to experiment with.I'm partial to stain work but for now I feel like it could look more realistic painted as long as I made the right choices.Hope you have a good one.

Hi Kathy, its good too hear from you! Things around here have been up and down for the last few years, but this year the doors and mantel sells have picked up alot. so now im just playing catch up on every thing, the doctor says i got arthritis in my thumbs now so thats been lots of fun!! he said the bone in your thumb is the first thing to go. here is my web site add. but most of my newer doors are on facebook ( stacey mitchell) staceymitchell163@msn."http://www.st...synthasite.com" , it looks like you have been busy carving away, your carvings are awesome!! i could never seem to get a face to turn out right, but oh well such is life i guess i dont make it over too WCI much anymore, seems like there are a ton of new people there but dont have much time to do much on the comp. ( i also got a job at home depot part time 4am-8am) then carve 6 or so hours so it dosent leave me much time Stacey

Hi Kathy: I got this thing where you are asking to be friends... I clicked on "shore nuff" and not sure anything ever happened? Don't know if this is part of the new format for the forum. Anyway.. Merry Christmas... and happy New Year... I still believe in the old way of sending the greeting. :-) Ed
