    What kind of wood? How thick? And how did you attach it? I had cut myself a couple of slices of teak about 1/8" thick but not only was it too thick for the Carvin' Jack but the teak was too oily for the adhesive.

    I've put a piece of wood on the handle of my carvin jack. A better grip, I think.
