    Just noticed that you live in Marshfield Mass. Used to live in Marshfield Hills about a million years ago! (not really a million, in the late 60s, early 70s). Lived down on Damon's Point. Small world!

    Thanks, draft51, it has taken me a few years to discover what makes a good eye. I think that the defining issue on eye carving is the realization that the orbicular rims of the skull indents in at the lower lateral sides. This becomes appearant upon examining a skull model, hence my insistence upon an adjusted eye line to slope down to meet those indentions.
