    Bob: In Caractures Carvers of America (CCA ) the winners are they carved in one piece or are the arms, legs carved separate and attached? The wood grain would go in all directions.I would like to try doig one of those pieces.

    Where did you get the patter for the buzzard on the rocks. It would be a cute gift for my brother-inlaw. As a kid they called him a little buzzard ,because he would pick up stuff and eat it what ever family left on thier plates.

    Bob...I spoke with Chan Schwarz today and he doesnt' mail out Cottonwood bark in case you were looking for that...Also, do you have a place in NJ you can recommend to buy wood? Shipping is getting steep. I am in Somerset, NJ.

    Hi Bob its best to round it off first then draw a single line for each bar then carve either side of it. I'll do one the weekend and take a photo of each stage to show you.
