hey Blake I carved a duck decoy for my dad and he is a T fan also. I was wondering what color orange you used on your carving? I plan on painting the decoy ornage and white but want to get the right color orange or it wont look right. Your carving is impressive!!!!!

Hey bud, yup all is well here. Been a heap o busy and haven't been able to carve but with fall coming I am geared up.

I am definitely wanting to come down in the spring to carve, but haven't heard anything more at this point. How are you and the family doing? (bet you been barbecuing up a storm!)

Hi Blake, think I may have "found" my way around here. In your article for doing Santas, you list a Drake "soft" V-tool. Am familar with Drake, but what is meant by "soft" V-tool? Lets see if this gets to you. Phil Topa

A few days ago I googled and found a great site for carving wood spirits. I inadvertently closed the site with out bookmarking it. It showed a carver marking the wood an ,making two cuts, one at the top of the noise and one at the bottom of the noise.

Can anyone help me find the site ?

    Blake,
Sorry for the delay. The proper site for the diamond disc is www.rocklady1.com
If for some reason that don't work, the phone number that I used was 1-866-742-6031. I belive that the web site has a toll free number. I called Ted and obtained his permission to give out his personal number.
