Hi Bill! I haven't heard from you in awhile. I hope all is well and you're carving away!

I like to carve all different things...mostly whatever stricks me at a given time. I really enjoy carving caricatures and I do a lot of Santas. Right now I just completed two gnomes as a custom order for a woman in ontario Canada. Next I'll be concentrating on carving Christmas tree ornaments for the WCI 2011 Ornament Swap. I think I need to make a dozen of them. What about you? What do you like to carve and what are you working on now?

Hello Woody, that is a neat apron. In fact I have one like it a friend made for me and I had my wife add some more material to it. I carve in my recliner all the time and they are great for that! BTW Smokey Mt. Woodcarvers is a great place! I consider Mac a friend of mine and he sells my videos there!

That is a neat apron that my sister made me for Christmas a couple of years back. It is kinda patterned after one that is available commercially, but she wanted it to be special so she made it red with black pockets. I wear it all the time when I carve in the living room. When you click the link above go down to the extra large one and this was the basic idea that I gave her.

Hi my name is Bill Murphy, I'm 65 years old currently I'm on disability. I have always like working with wood. In last few years I have been scroll sawing. The work takes place in my garage wich is not insulated. Because of the dust I started looking for a indoor wood working carving
