Default White Cedar Spirit

Just finished up this guy today. 11 1/2" carved out of a small White Cedar log using palm carving tools. Hope everyone had a great weekend!

Hello Jon,
I too like the curly beard as well as his "flat top" hair cut. You have produced an artistic and unique "wood spirit". Please show us some more.

By the way, I read somewhere that Otters won't do anything that isn't fun. You must enjoy your carving.

Your going to think I used your carving as a template. I will be posting a woodspirit in butternut in the gallery in a day or two. I put some curley whiskers on my fella too.Only difference is I put a twist in the whiskers as well which has slowed me down a lot.
Fine looking woodspirit you have carvered there. Great paint job as well.

Hey Jon,
Haven't heard from you in quite a while, glad to see that you're still creating. You definately have your own unique style which is very enjoyable to see. Take care.
