Default Shawl Pin Set

This is a commissioned 'shawl pin set' by Sharon of the Dell my friend and fellow woodcarver.

A while back I ask Sharon if she would carve a wooden shawl pin for a shawl I have recently knitted. She kindly obliged and here it is!

It's carved from Padauk which has a dark red color and compliments the colors in my shawl beautifully.

I gave Sharon full option her choice of wood and design because I knew she would create one beautiful piece of art for me.

I love it and I think you will too.

That is so nice it deserves a full sized image rather than relegated to a thumbnail.

Hi again Al, boy you are quick on the click! I agree this is one "bonnie" pin and yes it look great with my shawl. The ladies at the Mountain Spinners and Weavers Guild meeting in February will be drooling over it.

Dan & Bob K:
YES, I totally agree she is a fantastic and very creative woodcarver. I also wanted to mentioned that the wood for the pin came from a stash that belonged to her late Father. So I'm very, very honored.
