Default Driftwood

Hi all,
Been carving larger walnut for a while so I decided to pick up this small piece of driftwood for a change. Still very hard wood with the wood grain running all directions, he's 17" tall and 3 ' wide. Hope you enjoy.

Dan

Good job on the woodspirit and it looks like you made good use of all the carving real estate on that piece of found wood. Thanks for letting us see it.

Thanks Kenny & Corey. Most of the driftwood I find is on the shore of Lake Michigan and is almost always very hard and grainy.

Thanks Kathy, I can't take credit for the color, its just has neutral danish oil applied to bring out the natural color, the rest is mother nature, my favorite way of doing wood.

MA, burning and carving is not the same as playing with matches and knives.
