Default Crack head finished!

I finished crack head- crack head needs help! -and named him Olie.
This was a really hard piece of wood!
I filled the bigger cracks with super glue, saw dust and some of the charcoal I ground off of him. Seems to have worked pretty good.
Sorry some of the pictures are blurry, too much coffee and not enough sleep!
For his finish I used some stuff I had mixed up in a jar. I think there was some Watco Danish oil finish, beeswax, maybe some tung oil in the jar.
I gave him a pair of buttocks (said like Forrest Gump) and signed my name to one cheek and the month and year to the other.
He's a handful and a little more in size, about 7 1/2" tall by 5 1/2" wide.
He came from an oak crotch I rescued from the fire on a camping trip up in the mountains a ways from here a few years ago.
I used some power tools to rough him out, but mainly used my Mallet tools, minus the mallet and used my little Dockyards and Ramelson micro tools.
Carving really small eyes like these drive me bonkers, so I ended up using a pair of pliers to hold a pin over the cook stove, got the point red hot, and used it for the pupil. Did that several times.
I probably have at least 30 hours into this little guy. I kept cutting away until I was happy with him. I can't believe how slow I am! Being in my shop will help I hope! I think he will be my little shop guardian!
I did not cut myself carving him!!!!!!!!
Comments and critiques are more than welcome. Thanks for checking him out.
Sharon

I really like the look of his face. His eyes draw you in. Does he hang on the wall? Really? You never drew blood on this one?

Sharon,
Excellent carving. I love the whole thing and the way you layered the beard is really cool.
