Check out the Tilia entry on Wikipedia. I was looking for info on Linden Leaf Tea since I drink a lot of it at night to promote sleep. Lots of interesting stuff here including Basswood trees thought to be 2000 years old!

Very interesting Dave! I love learning the medicinal properties of plants. I would much rather use herbs and plants to medicate myself than prescription drugs when possible.
If you know what to use and the quantities and how to use them, they are usually just as effective as drugs and usually a lot safer! God's medicine as I call them!

Neat link David. Lots of great info there and other cool links.

The problem I have with drinking tea in the evening to promote sleep is that Nature seems to call a little too early in the morning...
