Scroll Saw Message Board Now that you have looked around the Wood Carving Message Board and hopefully started a new thread in the New Members area to say hello to us ... you might be interested to know that there is also a Scroll Saw Message Board hosted by Wood Carving Illustrated! On the main page of this board in the left hand navigation bar you will see the link. Click that link to go to that message board. Both message boards work the same and this tutorial's lessons will be of use there. Just like the Wood Carver's Message Board this one is full of new ideas, lots of great information and a wonderful community of scroll sawers waiting for you to join their group. See you around the boards! Susan |

Adding a link in your Signature in your User CP These steps are also useable for adding a link in any of your postings. The same hot link options are available in the text message box under Advanced signature1.jpg On the dark green bar at the top of any page click "User CP". This takes you to the main page of your User Control Panel. In the left navigation bar click the first link, "Edit Signature". This opens that option page. signature2.jpg In the text menu area I have typed my signature line. signature3.jpg I can place my cursor at the end of the wording that I want to hot link. Left click your mouse and drag your mouse over the exact wording that you want linked. This will highlight those words. signature4.jpg With the wording highlight I click on the menu options at the top of the text box. You want the link options which is the world globe with a chain link below it. Clicking this option opens a small window where you type or copy/paste the URL address to the webpage to which you want to link. Once the address in finished clickt he OK in the upper right hand side of this small menu box. signature5. jpg When the small link menu closes your wording will show up as a blue underlined link. You can add a link in any part of your signature line. Susan Last edited by Irish; 03-02-2009 at 07:39 AM. Reason: adding images |

signature6.jpg You can also copy and paste any URL address directly into the text box and the message board program will automatically hot link to that URL. If you include the http:// part of an URL address when you save your signature the full name of that web page will appear in your signature line. If you do not use the http:// and start your link with the www. part only the address will show as the hot link. Click Save Signature when you have finished. Susan |

![]() signature6.jpg You can also copy and paste any URL address directly into the text box and the message board program will automatically hot link to that URL. If you include the http:// part of an URL address when you save your signature the full name of that web page will appear in your signature line. If you do not use the http:// and start your link with the www. part only the address will show as the hot link. Click Save Signature when you have finished. By using the Insert Image option you can tie your explanation directly to your example.
