Default From Whittling Little Folk

I am still practicing flat plane carving. These are from Harley Refsal book and I am having a harder time carving them than expected. I have 3 others done and at present I am attempting the police man.
I thought I was uploading a side view of the flat plane carving instead I did a picture of a carving I was playing with from Lynn's pattern. I cannot delete it from this thread. Sorry

I've the same book, but haven't tried them yet - you did well. The look very much like the 'folk in the book. I really like the way your beards came out. Thumbs up to you!
