Default Troll

My wife was nice enough to get me some back order WCI magazines for Christmas, so this guy might be old to some of you, but new to me. This is my attempt at Harley Refsal Troll from issue 27. On the cover it says "carve a folk figure in under two hours" I won't say how long it took but I was nowhere close to 2 hours, he was alot of fun!

Thanks for looking
Eric

Nice job Eric, I also carved a troll from that same pattern, and no, I didn't even get close to the suggested two hours <grin> maybe after doing a hundred or so?
As I said, "nice job" and I appreciate you sharing with us...
John

Haven't you heard - in carving "there are no rules". That also applys to how long a project takes.
Nice work by the way.

Very nice carving and paint job on your troll. I have a blank ready for the female troll in issue 12 and if she comes out I want to pair her with this one. Thanks for sharing I really enjoyed him
