Default traditional finnish man

well.. i think theres not much to say about him,
hes been drinking cause he was fired from hes job.
but ofcourse he tries to hide the ugly thruth.

about twelve cm high, carved in bipolo, with a knife called puukko.
one of my very first flatplane characters. actually the second i think.

id love to hear critics and comments, so please don´t hesitate to give em.

go check my blog too if you like, theres few pictures more of him over there.

Very nice.... I like the wood. It looks hard?

Thanks folks!
I didnt expect this. The wood is bipolo, in finland it goes also by the name american nut(translated). It is harder than birch at least, the tricky thing is its grain as it changes its direction. I guess that made me think and tinker more when carving.
