Default Three Wee Guys

Been busy making three wee pals for Jethro.
From left to right: Cousin Frank, Pig-sty Pete and Uncle Abe!! LOL!
On Pig-sty Pete I had my first attempt at turning the head a bit trickier than I thought it would be. It seems to be really disorienting with the body facing straight on and the head at an angle!
I've started another farmer type wee guy and going to have a go at carving a wife for Jethro next! Poor wee guy! wonder what he'll end up with??!! LOL!!

Simon

Thanks Cliff! I managed to break the tip off my knife doing Pete! I've since re-shaped it and ground it.... so far so good!

I think you did a great job on the little guy.I like the colors that you used.I alway buy a longer knife than i want because as i break the tip and resharpen it doesn't take long till the knife will be just the wright length Ha ha

great little fellas
Carving a wife is a challenge for me anyway in flat plane all those curves and a feminine loofing face is difficult
But these little fellas do need a wife mine were happy to have pone even tho she was pretty darned homely
Good luck

These are wonderful, Simon. Are you liking the tiny figures better than those a bit larger?
