Default Recent Work

Here are a few of my recent pieces. The one on the Left is from Gene's tutorial, the others I just sat down and started carving. They are all 1x1 and range from 3.5 inches down to 2 inches tall. I really have't felt like painting recently, hope the mood strikes before they start piling up. As always, comments are appreciated. Thanks for looking.

Eric

Hi Eric,

Nice little carvings. Maybe one day I'll try them.

I loe litle guys, and yours are great. Excellent detail and nice crisp cuts...I know what you mean about painting them..I do little guys and sometimes it takes almost as much time to paint them well as to carve them (not really, but seems that way)...keep em comimg

Nice work, clean cuts- I say skip the paint and let the carving speak for itself.

They are very good, and I would let them unpainted too...

I like them all,

Gilles

Thanks for the kind words.
Bflobif and Gilles, I like your idea, I think I will leave them unpainted. I haven't tried antiquing before and this might be a good place to start.

Eric, I'd be interested in seeing a finished/antiqued piece, if you can.
