Default Owl

My first ever Owl.
I found the pattern while looking on the net for "Study Sticks". I thought it looked simple and I liked the clean sharp lines and flat planes.
I had the perfect leftover piece of wood and got to it.
Material is Jelutong.
Dimensions 1 1/4 x 1 1/4 x 2 3/4 inch

Great job Rob,
nice clean lines and cuts, have you tried any "flat plane" carvings yet? They're fun to do, Gene Messer has some tutorials on here with great step by step instructions. Good luck.

I love this little owl. I'll have to make another go at one. The first didn't turn out so great.
