Default Oskar - wee guy

I was trying to carve a Harley Refsal "Oskar" but 1/2 size (3-1/4" high) from the step by step guide in the book.
Somewhere between the book, my eyes, brain and hands, (plus I was tired at the time) it just wasn't happening. So, I just done a 'wee guy' version of him from the photograph on the front cover of the book. He's been renamed "Dip", short for ............., well I'll let you guess! Hahaha!

Thanks Herb and Gene! I keep trying and some bits seem to come together easier than others. My knife sharpening (honing) is getting better which is making life a little better and helping keep my knife where I want it.. Thanks guys, Simon

Wonderful, Simon. I believe I've become a 'vicarious carver' and I thank you for providing my carving experiences :-) Dip is great!
