Default My first attempt at Flat Plane

I whittled this little guy out of a block of basswood. Painted with acrylics. I meant to carve a whole figure but I made the head to big and ran out of room for the body.Hope you enjoy looking at him.

This guy has some real character, keep at it. Looks Awesome! I love big noses on carvings, my first face I barely cut out any wood. Love the deep cuts.

My first FP had both too big a head for the body and too much wood left, like Kurt's. Way to go Alex, don't stop now....
