Auld Jock scrubbed up well for the occaision and did nae too bad a job o' it with 'Skye the fly!'. "Come-by....come-by, laddie!" He's 6" tall and mounted on a piece of Olive Ash. I made the crook out of a piece of dowel and a small piece of oak. ............ after the trials and sandwiches its back to the farm and "auld clathes an' porridge!" LOL!

That is a GREAT carving. I really like it. It's so simple yet there is so much to see in the carving. A real work of art. I had not seen any of you other carving prior to this but I will be keeping an eye out for them in the future, they're delightful. All the best, Russ |
