Default A Hill Woman

MY mothers friend wanted a old timey hill woman for her fireplace mantle

heres what came of it in a sit down session

I got the idea from a Harold Enlow carving

Gene, You are definately a flat plane king.

I wish you would write a book with frame by frame photos of how you do them. I seem to be rounding the planes off too much. I watch your You Tube videos and still am having trouble with it.

Gene, that is one of my favorite carvings you have done. Love the cuts you made on this figure, the shaping of the hair etc. I am sure mom's freind will be very pleased!

Now we need a utube woman tutorial,
I struggle with women flat plane or real life and need all the help I can get on dealing with both
