Default Girl Reading

This is from a Harley Refsal pattern. She's 6" tall while seated. It was a challenge to carve her face behind that book. Thanks for looking and your comments are welcome.

Masterful carving. I doubt Harley Refsal could do better. That is one nice flat plane carving.

Great job Joe .. next time .. think about carving the hands and book separate and then fit them on the arms .. that way the face is a easier carve .. you did so very well

I have an idea of just how hard it was to carve the face with the book in the way...well done all around ...carving and painting are very nice indeed.
