Simon,
I really look forward to seeing your little guys. They are always such a joy to see. What are you doing with all of these little guys. You have to be getting quite a collection by now. Keep them coming and thanks for sharing.

Safe Carving and God Bless,

Mark

Thumbs up Re: Flash Gordon

Simon .. when I saw the title .. I never thought about the actual carving itself looking like that .. a original idea for sure

With each little guy .. you are getting better and better .. thats the key .. keep practicing .. your doing excellent

Thanks Bill and Brian. Cliff, I might try a few Tartan Terrors down the line a bit!
Mark, I've got 20 of them now. A friend of a friend is interested in seeing them and might buy a couple. Not sure if I want to lose any of them, you sort of get attached to them. Not sure, the jury's still out on that one.
Gene, Thank you very much . I sometimes just get a daft idea like "What if.....or how would that look?" The weird thing is I'm really, really rubbish at drawing but I can kind of see it in the round! I really do enjoy doing these wee guys and hopeefully they will get better as I progress.
Curt, "it was too late, she'd done an had a free shot, right there in the cheap seats!" LOL!

Well the carving and painting is great, but not too sure about the Nom de plume.

A Gordon for me, a Gordon for me,
If ye're no a Gordon ye're no use to me.
The Black Watch are braw, the Seaforths and a'

I won't post the last line of the chorus in case some might find offense or at the worst lend credence to the carvings given name.
